PACFA has an advisory committee that is made up of eleven members of the pet care industry who represent various entities including grooming, boarding, retail, shelters and the general public. Any changes to the PACFA rules must be approved through the advisory committee.  The daycare representative is Joann Farrend of Winston’s Doggy Playhouse, and she welcomes feedback from all dog daycares.  You may reach her by email winsplayhouse@comcast.net or by phone at 303-805-9640.

The CADD Board of Directors completed the Gold Standard Accreditation program earlier this year. This voluntary  Accreditation is available to all CADD members that make dog behavioral training in a day care environment a key part of their staff development program. CADD’s Annual Picnic is on September 25 from noon to 2:30 pm.  Nana Will, from a Dog’s Eye View will provide a special presentation on how to effectively create a training program for your staff which will help you get started with the Gold Standard Accreditation for your facility.  Additional information can be found in the Schedule of Events section
