PACFA has an advisory committee that is made up of eleven members of the pet care industry who represent various entities including grooming, boarding, retail, shelters and the general public. Any changes to the PACFA rules must be approved through the advisory committee.  The daycare representative is Joann Farrend of Winston’s Doggy Playhouse, and she welcomes feedback from all dog daycares.  You may reach her by email winsplayhouse@comcast.net or by phone at 303-805-9640.

The Gold Standard Accreditation program was established in 2010. This voluntary  Accreditation is available to all CADD members that make dog behavioral training in a day care environment a key part of their staff development program. These standards also serve as a guide for new businesses.   For more information, please click the following link Gold Standard Accreditation. You can also get more information to assist you with the Gold Standard Accreditation by clicking on the following links, Gold Standard application, sample behavioral questionnaire and documentation worksheet.

For more information regarding the Gold Standard Accreditation, please contact Judy Gee at doggiepause@comcast.net

CADD has partnered with PFC Payment Solutions to offer our members association pricing for credit card processing.

We are excited to be able to offer a benefit of this nature to our members.  Some organizations such as PSI (Pet Sitters International) and PCSA use their bargaining power to apply for lower insurance rates and credit card processing.  If you would like a free analysis, please contact brian@pfcps.com
