She has a passion for helping to enhance people’s relationships with their dogs through education and training.  Pat became a Certified Pet Dog Trainer in 2003. She adheres to a code of ethics set forth by the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers and upholds her education and knowledge of current training methods. Areas of special interest for Pat are Dog Aggression, Resource Guarding, Separation Anxiety, Reactive Dogs and Shy Dogs.

Pat is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and a certified evaluator for the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen program. She currently writes Taking The Lead, a dog training advice column published in the community newsletters Living Well In Lowry and Stapleton’s Front Porch.
